Cà d’Zan, John and Mable Ringling’s mansion on Sarasota Bay, is one of America’s most elegant historic houses. Cà d’Zan-which means “House of John” in Venetian dialect-took two years to complete and is adjacent to the Ringling Museum and Gardens.
