Family Beautiful recently had the honor of touring the incredible MGA Sculpture gallery in the Downtown Arts District in St Petersburg, Florida. Not only is the area an impressive gentrification of a once industrial no mans land, it is now a thriving mecca of art and creativity.
MGA Sculpture Studio is owned and operated by internationally known sculptor, Mark Aeling. Mark received his M.F.A. in sculpture from Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 1993. He remained in St. Louis working as a professional sculptor for 18 years. In 2005 Mark relocated MGA to St. Petersburg, FL. MGA now has over 4,000 square feet and 25 foot ceilings at it’s disposal.
The gallery is a sought after Public Art sculpture oasis and is working on some impressive projects such as a monument to the first Commercial Aviation flight out of St. Petersburg- and will be at the fabulous new pier this Spring!
