Gina hails from Java, Indonesia. She began sewing at the age of four. She has worked many facets of runway shows epitomizing the pinnacle of the fashion industry, showcasing the visionary creations such as exaggerated silhouettes and long trains. For fashion designers, the runway is a canvas where creativity meets craftsmanship, where trends are born and boundaries are pushed. Her creations blend tradition with innovation, reflecting a deep understanding of garment construction and fabric manipulation honed over years of dedication.

Many of her designs are sometimes hand-dyed or use hand-carved woodblock stamps to make custom patterns on the fabric. These woodblock stamps are used traditionally in India, Indonesia and many other regions of Eastern Asia and have been around for centuries. Not only are many of these pieces block printed by hand, she carves many of these woodblocks herself to create a truly custom look. She also likes to use vintage fabrics to make new wearable clothing, as it gives an even more unique touch to each item. Some of the material dates back as far as the 1920’s.
