The Venice Theatre has already kicked off its thrilling new concert series with a sensational night of soul! Ray! The Soulful Legend: A Tribute to Ray Charles was nothing short of spectacular. The one-night-only event on Monday, March 24 at the Venice Theatre left the audience buzzing with excitement and pure joy.

Created and performed by International artist Michael Washington, this tribute was a masterclass in musical excellence. Washington’s powerful, soulful voice filled the venue with spine-tingling renditions of Ray Charles’ greatest hits. From the roaring enthusiasm of What’d I Say to the heartfelt crooning of Georgia on My Mind and the foot-stomping Hit the Road Jack, the audience was on its feet, clapping and singing along.

Michael Washington is a gifted musician and vocalist known for his captivating performances and powerful tributes to legendary artists like Ray Charles. With a voice that effortlessly blends soul, blues, and jazz, Michael’s musical journey is rooted in passion, precision, and pure artistry.
