We chose to relax and enjoy the stunning facilities. Our room had just been recently updated to soothing hues of pale gray and white- a gorgeous bathroom with fabulous vanity and the view of the lazy river and all of the fireworks each evening!
The first stop was the Waldorf Astoria Spa-with 22 luxuriously appointed treatment rooms with an emphasis on customization. On the menu- a Himalayan Salt Hot Stone massage- just perfect for getting that stress out of the way!
Then, on to the brand new Himalayan Salt Therapy room! The Waldorf Orlando is the first to feature this in the state of Florida! The salt therapy provides relief from a variety of ailments such as asthma, allergies, colds, ear infections and jet lag! It was amazing and you feel super rejuvenated after!
After all the pampering, it was hard to focus on anything but more relaxing! The incredible lazy river pool was just the perfect way to spend the rest of the day.
The weekend we were on site was during a wonderful Food and Wine Weekend that runs through November 24th. We chose to dine at the award winning La Luce- which is a favorite among all local Orlando residents as well as guests. Rated #1 on Trip Advisor in Orlando! The modern Italian fare is unsurpassed in this environment. We had the salmon- perfectly prepared with a bed of spinach. The desserts are simply amazing as well!
Last, but surely not least is the Waldorf Bar du Chocolat- a decadent selection of a la carte chocolate treats that will make any chocoholic cry for joy! Prepared by the Waldorf’s world class pastry chefs. A glass of champagne tops off the entire experience.
