A Sublime Getaway to the Four Seasons Orlando

A truly 5 star property nestled in the midst of the world’s Theme Park destination is a true luxury. Enter in the Four Seasons Resort, Orlando. A stunning mega property, one of the largest in the Four Seasons group. It is gorgeous from every angle. Art and impeccable architecture everywhere you look and happen to gaze. Sprawling and spacious, it never feels crowded or for that matter even remotely touristy. It always feels beautiful and serene.

Travelling during these times is a matter of choice, but the Four Seasons goes the extra mile to ensure extreme safety and comfort of their guests. Everyone who enters the building walks through a temperature check as well as the mandatory masks in all public spaces. The resort is immaculate.

The Four Seasons Resort Orlando is a 26-acre (10.5-hectare) lakeside paradise nestled within the idyllic enclave of the Golden Oak luxury residential community. There’s endless fun to be had at the five-acre (two-hectare) water park, featuring a winding lazy river, two water slides, a splash zone, family pool, adults-only pool and more.

We chose our activities very carefully. The day began with a fantastic tennis hitting lesson with the resident pro, Alain Labrecque, who is with the famed Peter Burwash organization. He makes tennis not only fun, but technical enough to improve your game and get a great workout. The clay courts are perfectly maintained and surrounded by lush landscaping.

After a brief rest, I headed off to the amazing Spa. The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Orlando is a 13,000-square-foot (1,208-square-metre) oasis of serenity offering a comprehensive collection of effective and exclusive therapies and advanced aesthetic services. Indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, that are gorgeous and very safe, as well as his-and-her locker rooms complete with all kinds of ways to let the stress melt away.

I chose a hyper- customized hydrotherapy facial that included a micro dermabrasion, plus an incredibly effective resurfacing and anti-aging facial utilizing Hydradermabrasion technology, this facial benefits all skin types by improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne, hyper-pigmentation, congested pores and uneven skin tone. The 50 minute treatment includes a thorough exfoliation, extractions assisted by Vortex-Fusion, LED therapy and exceptional hydration through antioxidant, peptide and hyaluronic acid infusions.

I definitely noticed a difference and my skin was super radiant and smooth!

After all of the workout and spa, a trip to the adult oasis pool was definitely in order. Super calm and quiet, attended by amazing and well trained staff that arrange your towels just so on the chaise lounges so you are inn perfect comfort. A bucket of ice is always on hand with refreshing water or any beverage of your choice. A cool cocktail to ease all the stress away is swiftly delivered by the attentive and kind staff.

It was hard to pry myself away from the pool, a serene scene that was something out of a dream sequence in a film. For those with younger kids, a short stroll away is the super fun river pool and slide area- still with artistically cool areas to lounge and have an eye on the kids but also enjoying the superb 5 star treatment of the Four Seasons Resort.

No trip to the Four Seasons Resort Orlando is complete without a fabulous evening dining at the storied Capa Steakhouse. A spectacular location on the top floor of the resort with sweeping views of the surrounding area. The evening’s view usually includes the fireworks from a of the theme parks, however, they are temporarily on hiatus due to the pandemic.

The dining experience was wonderful. The Spanish infused steakhouse has a perfect menu of classics and tapas- all conveniently accessed through a safe qr code for your phone. Each flavor profile is exact and extremely delicious!

We ended the evening with a sensational dessert. A compilation of sweet and savory in a gorgeous and artistic setting.

The best part about a visit to the Four Seasons Resort Orlando is that it is a mere 1.5 hour’s drive from Sarasota! And a world away!
