This is not your ordinary Hilton, this is a luxury family vacation. A true oasis for everyone in the family. As soon as you arrive, you sense that there is something special around every corner. The gracious staff welcomes you to the spectacular lobby area that is grand, cool, trendy and comfortable. It invites you to relax and stay a while, not just pass through. It is also the pulse of the resort- the location of the many fabulous restaurants and cafe’s. Family vacation and luxury, simply the best of all worlds.
One cannot ignore the outrageous 3 plus acre river pool with water slides, food and beverage service, and just tons of fun. Day and night, this is the place where the good times roll. Overlooking the golf course and beyond to the Disney parks, it doesn’t get much better than this perfect place. Adults can relax with their favorite beverage while the kids can spend hours frolicking in the many fun areas of the pool oasis.
The state of the art gym is nearby as well, offering just about any type of equipment you could think of and then some. Very modern and super well maintained, this is a great way to work out after some of the amazing restaurants the property has to offer.
The suite was nothing short of a dream. The stunning views of the resort river oasis plus golf course and them parks beyond- this was the million dollar vista. Each evening the fireworks would light up the sky, making the entire experience super special. The living area was stylish, spotless and fit for a king. The bathroom featured a soaking tub, walk in shower and extremely spacious vanity area. One actually never needed to leave the room- it was the epitome of luxury.
However, La Luce was awaiting, the 5 star Italian inspired restaurant on property. This gem of a dining establishment is actually rated #2 in Orlando out of thousands of restaurants. This is impressive. And, rightly so. The ambience is relaxing, impeccable and upscale. Welcomed by the most gracious staff, this was going to be a truly special experience.
The array of courses was mind boggling. Starting with a trio of mediterranean samples such as delicately fried olives, calamari and an eggplant, mushroom bruschetta. This was followed by a duo of divine salads in the form of cauliflower with arugula, with a light and amazing beet salad. The main course was halibut on a puree of mushrooms with grilled artichoke. And the ultimate in decadence was the dessert. A trio of bliss- a small tiramisu, 2 vertical cannolis with a special sabayon sauce and a dulce de leche spoon of happiness with chocolate and caramel crisps to top it off. Simply sensational. The chef, Shirley Latorre Alarcon is surely the up and coming food star!
The mornings are glorious at the resort. The view is encouraging only happiness and to add to the feeling is their Harvest Bistro. A wonderful way to start the day- sumptuous buffet with just about anything you could imagine to eat in the AM. They will make anything to order, even eggs benedict or any kind of omelette imaginable. The staff is super friendly, warm and welcoming. It is obvious that they are very happy and well trained. Kudos to them!
Hating to leave, it was hard to pack up and say goodbye. But, the short 1.5 hour drive meant that we would visit time and time again. Perfect for a short respite or a longer getaway- the entire family will be happy at the Hilton Bonnet Creek.
